Press motion had to coordinate with product feeding, chain transfer, ejector mechanisms, adjustable machine geometry and temperature-controlled process zones.

Motion and process control in one cycle model
Dual servo press axes were synchronized with absolute positioning, press time and recipe-dependent stroke values. Force feedback and encoder differences were incorporated into fault handling.
