Turn separate process stages into one production flow
Material preparation, precision dosing, mixing, extrusion and drying each had their own equipment and upstream/downstream dependencies. The goal was to manage the complete line as one controlled, traceable process.
02 / SOLUTION
PLC and SCADA designed around the same process model
Machine, subsystem and equipment levels were separated in the PLC using explicit state machines and process interlocks. SCADA combined live process views, recipes, production history, audit records, alarms and reporting.
